  5. The FOREFRONT Construction Management Estimating system is designed to provide
  6. information needed by the contractor to estimate the cost of jobs. All
  7. subcontractors are cross-referenced by name and phase number and there is a
  8. user-maintained database for items as well as for subcontractors. The system
  9. allows for unlimited phases within a job, and supports standard and entered
  10. costs, adjustment percentages, and cost types. The FOREFRONT Construction
  11. Management Estimating system permits constant review of detailed take-off
  12. information. It also allows the user to create custom groups for take-off
  13. items, including complete working descriptions and dimensions for fast data
  14. entry. Once the items are taken off, the user is allowed to change any of the
  15. quantities, hours, unit pricing, and extended pricing at the bid summary level.
